I Wanna Be Loved by You

After having a panic attack, I decided I needed to distract myself. Originally, I was going to draw Patrick Bateman from American Psycho, but my mind decided that I should draw Betty instead. xD

For those who do not know who Betty Boop is, she was a cartoon character ( the first cartoon sex symbol, might I add ) who debuted on August 9, 1930 in the cartoon, 'Dizzy Dishes.' Originally, she was portrayed as a french poodle until the year 1932, where she first appeared as a human in the cartoon, 'Any rags.' Anyways, she's one of my favorite cartoon characters whom i've grown up with ever since I was a kid!

-The picture was inspired by one of the opening credits sequences in some of the cartoons she was in.
-In the background are different characters from several cartoons she appeared in. Characters include Koko the Clown, Bimbo the Dog, and the Walrus from the short, 'Minnie the Moocher.'
